I'm developing this information fairly slowly over the Christmas 2007 period. The lesson I draw from all the correspondence that I have sent, and the replies received is that traditional approaches are unlikely to work.

For whatever reasons the bureaucracy and the politicians (from all sides) have decided that the normal laws don't apply to them. Ultimately if this issue is to be decided in the Veterans' favour, as it should be, then it will have to be decided by the High Court.

As the media also seem reluctant to act I intend to write to large companies to see if one or more of them are prepared to reallocate a small proportion of their advertising budget to act as the PR Medium - essentially what politicians and the media should be doing.
